Eviction Process
(Available in Polk County, Iowa Only)
There are many steps in the process of evicting a problem tenant including serving notices, proper time frames to follow, mailings to be sent and affidavits to be signed. Each step must be done correctly or you risk loosing your case and having to start the entire process again, costing you time and money!
We have broken down these steps so you can choose to do part of the process yourself or have IPS manage the entire process. Either way, our goal is for you to have a winning case so that you can start generating cash flow again!
While the Polk County Sheriff's office service notices also, here's how IPS adds value:
===>You only pay in advance for your first service; after that, you are invoiced and have 30 days to pay.
===>We never charge mileage (mileage may apply if your property is outside the Des Moines metro interstate loop).
===>If your notice is posted, IPS mails the required copies via certified and regular mail. This means no trips to the post office!
===>We do not charge for additional tenants at the same address.
===>Our office is conveniently located at 3101 Ingersoll Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa, with plenty of off-street parking.
===>Last but not least, you can ask us to hurry!! We understand about deadlines.
*IPS personnel do not attend hearings unless called upon to testify regarding due process.
